第十四届全国人民代表大会第三次会议于 3 月 5 日至 11 日在北京举行。
会议听取了国务院总理李强关于政府工作、全国人大常委会委员长赵乐际关于全国人民代表大会常务委员会工作、最高人民法院院长张军关于最高人民法院工作、最高人民检察院检察长应勇关于最高人民检察院工作等报告和全国人大常委会副委员长李鸿忠关于全国人民代表大会和地方各级人民代表大会代表法修正草案的说明，审查了国务院关于 2024 年国民经济和社会发展计划执行情况与 2025 年国民经济和社会发展计划草案的报告及 2025 年国民经济和社会发展计划草案等文件。表决通过了关于政府工作报告等决定、决议。
中共中央总书记、国家主席、中央军委主席习近平 3 月 5 日下午在参加他所在的十四届全国人大三次会议江苏代表团审议时强调，圆满实现“十四五”发展目标，经济大省要挑大梁。江苏要把握好挑大梁的着力点，在推动科技创新和产业创新融合上打头阵，在推进深层次改革和高水平开放上勇争先，在落实国家重大发展战略上走在前，在促进全体人民共同富裕上作示范。
The Third Session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) was held in Beijing from March 5 to 11. Xi Jinping, along with other leaders of the Party and the state, attended the session.
During the session, reports were presented, including the government work report by Premier Li Qiang, the work report by Zhao Leji, Chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, the work report by Zhang Jun, President of Supreme People's Court, and the work report by Ying Yong, ProcuratorGeneral of the Supreme People's Procuratorate. The session also included an explanation of the draft amendment to the Law on Deputies to the NPC and local people's congresses by Li Hongzhong, Vice Chairman of NPC Standing Committee. The session reviewed the State Council's report on the implementation of the 2024 national economic and social development plan and the 2025 national economic and social development draft, as well as other relevant documents. Resolutions on the government work report and other related matters were passed.
On the afternoon of March 5, Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President of the People's Republic of China, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remarks when taking part in a deliberation with the Jiangsu delegation during the Third Session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) that economic powerhouse provinces should play a major role in achieving the goals of the 14th Five-Year Plan. Jiangsu should take the lead in integrating technological and industrial innovation, strive to advance deep-level reforms and high-level opening-up, take the forefront in implementing major national development strategies, and set an example in promoting common prosperity for all people.
